Why make a pickup like everybody else?

 

There are so many pickup manufacturers in the world, from the big boys down to the dude in his garden shed making a bit of extra money on the side. So... What's the difference between them all?

.... Virtually nothing !

Though if you talk to your guitar playing buddies, they all have their theories on the type of pickup to have in your guitar.

There's nice pickups and not so nice pickups, but hey... that's just our opinion!

BUT !!! ...All of those other pickups out there  pickup noise / interference just like the next. This is why Silent J's Pickups has gone to the extreme effort of designing pickups that aim to eliminate electrical noise from interfering with your tone!
