HUMBUCKER SET - CARBON FIBRE
 
This Carbon Fibre humbucker pickup set has been designed from the ground up. Every step of its design ensures the greatest tone whilst offering both minimal electrical noise and hum.
 
The chassis of each pickup is a standard metal chassis, and comes with two mounting screws and springs for height adjustment.
 
Both the top and the bottom of each humbucker offers a unique enclosed design that is made from 100% carbon fibre. This forms the basis of the noise free design.
 
Both coils on these humbuckers are 100% hand scatter wound with 42 gauge copper wire for ultimate tone. The coil winds are also microshielded with a thin copper film, this ensures that the coil is totally encapsulated keeping the electrical noise out of the pickup.
 
The AlNiCo 5 bar magnet  is the engine to these humbuckers. The magnet is gaussed (charged) in a particular way to ensure that optimal tone and dynamics are produced within the coils. 
 
Normally on humbuckers you will see 6x slugs and 6x adjustable pole pieces (which nobody adjusts). On Silent J's humbuckers we have used 12x slugs, this ensures the very best of magnetic field transfer and noise reduction,  ... again... giving you ultimate tone.
 
The hook up wire is a shielded 4x wire conducter giving you best noise reduction and wiring options.
 
Please note, Electrical/Electronic noise surrounds us, not only are pickups susceptable to this noise, your wiring harness is too. Therefore, pickup sets will come complete with a Switchcraft mono jack socket and studio grade Van Damme®, Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) shielded 2x wire conducter to reject further unwanted signals if required.
 
These humbuckers are '50mm/Neck' and '52mm/Bridge'.  This is the spacing of the pole pieces from 1st sting to 6th string. In our Humbucker sets we offer the 50mm and 52mm pole spacing for better string alignment, this gives optimal tone, dynamics and sustain.
